Okay, guys. Since all of you are asking the same questions (Where are the releases? IRC, what is that?), I decided to answer your questions once and for all. First of all, IRC is what we use to initially distribute our releases. After three days, they will be up for direct download on the site.
Why don’t you just put the direct download ups right away?
In the past, the website has crashed due to too much traffic.
Why don’t you use mediafire/sendfile/etc?
Experience has dictated that this is an unstable alternative.
IRC Guide
1. Download and install an IRC client. Some good clients are mIRC and SysReset.
2. Run the client. Put ‘irc.irchighway.net‘ as the server.
3. Once connected to the server, type ‘/j #shinnen‘.
4. When you enter the room, you will see a list of triggers for the most recent releases. A trigger looks like this: ‘!project’. Choose what you want, and type it in. If everything goes right, the release should be sent to you right away.
Note: If the trigger you want is from a past release, then it’s probably not listed there — there’s a link in the channel directing to the available downloads, and further instructions of how to get them. But, really, if it’s from a past release, it’s probably already available for download on the website.
